Hodder Turf Solutions – Service Warranty & Treatment Policy

At Hodder Landscaping & Property Services Ltd. – Hodder Turf Solutions, our goal is to provide professional, responsible turf care using products, application methods, and industry practices appropriate for your property and the conditions present at the time of service.

While we stand behind the quality of our work, lawn and turf treatments involve many factors outside of our control. For this reason, specific results cannot be guaranteed.

Pesticide & Product Regulations

All pesticide, herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide applications performed by Hodder Turf Solutions are subject to applicable federal, provincial, and municipal regulations, product registrations, label requirements, and licensing requirements.

The products available to professional applicators, the pests they may legally be used to control, application rates, application frequency, timing, and permitted treatment areas may be restricted by government regulation and product labels.

Hodder Turf Solutions will not apply an unregistered product, exceed a labelled application rate, increase application frequency beyond what is legally permitted, or otherwise apply a product contrary to its approved label in an attempt to achieve better control.

Where regulations or product registrations limit the treatment options available, we will use reasonable and legally permitted treatment methods; however, complete control or elimination of a weed, insect, disease, or other turf problem cannot be guaranteed.

Weed Control

Weed-control applications are intended to reduce weed populations and improve overall turf quality. They do not guarantee a completely weed-free lawn.

Results may vary depending on:

- Weed species and maturity

- Severity of the infestation

- Weather and soil conditions

- Turf density and overall lawn health

- Timing of application

- Available registered control products

- Customer watering, mowing and maintenance practices

- New weed seeds entering or germinating in the property following treatment

Some weeds may require multiple treatments or may have limited effective treatment options under current pesticide regulations.

## Insect & Grub Control

Insect treatments are intended to reduce damaging pest populations when applied at the appropriate stage of their life cycle.

Hodder Turf Solutions cannot guarantee complete elimination or prevention of insects, including chinch bugs, white grubs or other turf-damaging pests.

Insect activity and treatment effectiveness can be affected by pest pressure, weather, soil moisture, irrigation, application timing, pest life cycle and the products legally available for use.

Damage that occurred before treatment may not recover without additional turf repair, overseeding, topdressing, sod or other corrective work. Unless specifically included in the service agreement, these repairs are not included in the cost of the pesticide application.

## Turf Disease & Fungus

Turf diseases can develop or return due to weather, moisture, humidity, temperature, mowing practices, irrigation, fertility and other environmental conditions.

Where registered treatment options are available, Hodder Turf Solutions may recommend or provide treatment; however, treatment does not guarantee that a disease will be completely eliminated or will not return.

## Fertilizer, Overseeding & Lawn Improvement Services

Fertilization, overseeding, aeration and other cultural practices are intended to improve turf health and growing conditions.

Results depend heavily on weather, soil conditions, watering, mowing practices, seed-to-soil contact, existing turf condition and ongoing maintenance.

Seed germination and establishment cannot be guaranteed where adequate watering and aftercare are not provided.

## Weather & Environmental Conditions

Treatment effectiveness can be affected by rain, drought, excessive heat, frost, wind, irrigation, mowing, soil conditions and other environmental factors outside of our control.

Applications may be postponed or rescheduled when Hodder Turf Solutions determines that conditions are unsuitable, unsafe, ineffective or contrary to product label requirements.

A treatment performed under acceptable conditions is not considered defective simply because weather or environmental conditions later reduce its effectiveness.

## Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for following any watering, mowing, irrigation, access, re-entry or other aftercare instructions provided by Hodder Turf Solutions.

Where poor results are reasonably attributable to failure to follow these instructions, additional treatments may be subject to normal service charges.

Customers should notify Hodder Turf Solutions promptly if they have concerns regarding a treatment. Waiting until significant additional damage has occurred may limit our ability to assess the original problem or provide corrective recommendations.

## Retreatments

If a customer believes a treatment has not performed as expected, Hodder Turf Solutions may inspect the property and determine whether additional treatment is appropriate.

A complimentary reapplication is not automatically guaranteed.

Any retreatment must:

1. Be permitted by the product label and applicable regulations;

2. Be appropriate for the pest or turf condition present;

3. Be within allowable application intervals and annual application limits; and

4. Be considered reasonably beneficial by Hodder Turf Solutions.

Where an additional application is not legally permitted, is unlikely to provide meaningful benefit, or where the issue is caused by conditions outside of our control, no complimentary retreatment will be provided.

## Existing & Subsequent Turf Damage

Hodder Turf Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing lawn damage or for subsequent damage caused by circumstances outside of our reasonable control, including drought, excessive moisture, flooding, heat stress, winter injury, salt damage, pet damage, wildlife, insects migrating from surrounding properties, disease, improper mowing, irrigation problems, soil conditions or other environmental factors.

Treatment of a pest or turf condition does not automatically include repair of damage caused by that condition.

## Our Commitment

Although we cannot guarantee a completely weed-, insect-, or disease-free lawn, we do guarantee that we will provide our services professionally, use products in accordance with their registered labels and applicable regulations, and make reasonable recommendations based on the conditions observed at the time of service.

If a treatment does not perform as expected, we encourage customers to contact us so we can assess the property and recommend the most appropriate next step.
